My new Tattoo... its healing nicely. Andy West the tattoo artist drew it himself and it was exactly what I wanted. I only got it on friday evening so its still a little pink, it should fade quite a bit when it heals as he didnt use any black. I LOVE IT and I'm really chuffed it came out like this.

London to Brighton

Technically I dont live in London but St Albans IS pretty close.

Uni has been over for a while now and I've been living back home with my mum, 2 dogs and some fish. Plus any dogs we happen to be looking after. At the moment we have a lovely chocolate Labrador called Marney. Its pretty quiet in Whitwell and days seem to revolve around walking dogs and working in the village shop. However it has been the plan for a while now to leave this pretty place for the wonders and excitement of Brighton. Oh and to live with my ginger man and his friends who are all lovely.

So Its 4 days till I actually leave! and 6 till we move in. I have sooo much packing to do! how can I possibly fit all my clothes in a single built in wardrobe????

The ring at the front in the middle was designed by Lauren Thomas and 6 of the rings are Stephen Webster! the rest are either vintage or from holidays

My Best friend and housemate Lauren (who is a Jewelry design student) has just started working for Stephen Webster and was aloud go to an exclusive sale. She...being UH-mazing, bought me a couple of rings (one is a christmas present) and she also got a load of stuff herself. Ive got a few pictures of the rings and of her Jewelry that i love. Oh and a little Hamster debut as i havent yet put any pictures of the little guys up yet. Boris and Demetry. x

Back from Brighton

Ive spent a lovely couple of days in Brighton, eating...various things that go on toast, walking around the lanes, watching Southpark..(every time i watch it i forget how funny i find it, although red wine may have lubricated my sence of humor some what) Also listening to Turncoat the boys (Dave) brothers band. Ive been singing along to a song that got stuck in my head allll day!

Ive been trying to write my dissertation draft, it hasn't been going well, about 1000 words down, 4000 more to go!

Just a little taster from the shoot. The pictures turned out perfectly thanks to Liam Saxton the photographer and Jo graham my model.
The shoot was based on a dark witch craft theme, mixing textures such at beading, lace, fur, wet look leggings, crushed silk etc.

Just about to finish this project, I've completed my 5 shoots.
I love Mr Crowley...the perfect person to do a project inspired about. These are some of the pictures I have been using at inspiration for my shoots. The magazine should be published pretty soon. So I don's really want to put any pictures from the shoots up until it has been. At the moment I'm in Brighton visiting the Boy....and trying to do some dissertation work.

We have mice! Well one has been spotted and court. He was very cute, but as we have 2 other little friends now, 2 hamsters Lauren and i adopted from our mate Jen (and Ryan) a couple of days ago, there isn't much room for little Trevor the mouse.

Today is hand in! The work for this huge project ive been doing, working as a stylist for a magazine. Ive had to do 5 shoots (i will add them to my blog at some point)
5 shoots...In 5 weeks!!! Its been a bit mental.

The real Coco, she was beautiful. I'm glad they made this film, a lot of people don't realize that she was responsible for so much in womens freedom and rights as well as making black chic rather than the colour of mourning and making it respectable to wear trousers.

This is my favorite scene in the film, with CoCo in my best little all in one! its lovely. These resent ads were clearly influenced by the film.

I’m still cutting my teeth with this blog, its new and I keep forgetting its existence, the last few weeks have been mad! The end of a almost impossible project, I ended up making a 31 page magazine, not sure how I feel about it. I’m in love with the shoot my wonderful photographer boyfriend shot for me, the front cover you can see above (I will put the rest on here at some point) Dave Imms ….thats the boyfriend. He is having his (group) Final Exhibition later this week.

This was a very very last minute shoot, days before hand in, I grabbed Jess, borrowed a camera and walked into Rochester with some of my clothes. The gold dress was stolen from a dressing up box at a private girls school, my boyfriend at the time smuggled it into his guitar case for me, its been one of my most loved garments ever since. The shoot turned out well and i got a first for this project.

I found out today that Buck a mens style magazine (i dont care if it was for men it was still amazing) has gone online, so no more real, touchable copys will be sold. Tania my house mate brought buck to my attention when it first came out, its a sad story that it has folded after just 3 issues. The recession is hitting mens magazines hard. Lets just hope we can keep the rest of the magazine industry afloat by buying them all, i know im doing my bit!!!

I fell in love with these trousers at first sight, so well tailored, the hunting breeches look? can be really unflattering. I think these are the exception. I got them from a stall in Camden about a month ago they haven't had many outings because of the weather mainly, but with spring here, i can finally get my pale ankles out. Another find was this old leather satchel, hidden in the back of a charity shop, tartan on the inside and soft oak coloured leather on the outside. Best of all it only cost £6.50! One of my proudest finds.

Ive come back from narnia to the beautiful medway, to find pregnant teenagers, chavs and broken glass on every corner. Easter was really good, in a getting up and going to work....and then sleeping for the rest of the day..kinda way. But however rough and grotty Chatham may be it's full of life and people, a stark contrast to the little village i left. x

Back in the wilderness, surrounded by grass and animals, warmed by heating and fed by already stocked fridge. This world is a strange and unfamiliar place. It seems like so long since ive been back, although in reality it has only been 3 months or so. With the lack of distractions in this part of the world (boyfriend, uni, tap, shopping) i should have plenty of time to actually Blog. Now ive said it, it will happen! I'll cya on the other side x
